Watersports in Hua Hin Water-sports

Hua Hin water-sports are offered on Takiab beach. The available activities include jet-skis, banana boat rides, water-skiing, para-sailing, and sea kayaking. Although these Huahin water-sports are available to everyone they are dangerous and care and common sense must be taken. Watersports at the main Hua Hin beach are limited due to the presence of the submerged boulders after which the town derives its name.

One of our favorite family water-sport is a ride on the banana boats. The rides are not real fast but it is still a challenge to hold on to the boat. Generally, the ride will last for 30 minutes. You can be sure the driver of jet ski which pulls the banana boat will do his best to make sure you tip over at least one time.

The cost for Hua Hin water-sports such as the use of the watercraft and for rides on the banana boats are negotiable. The prices will be more expensive during high season. It is simple economics, as the demand goes up, so does the cost. Don't be afraid to bargain. It is actually expected for buyers to bargain for items. If the price is more than you are willing to pay, even after a serious bargaining session, don't feel bad about walking away.

Our family's favorite Huahin water-sports are the banana boats. It takes some effort to hold on, but getting thrown from the boat on a sharp corner is what makes the ride worthwhile.
