Hua Hin City Hotels

Hua Hin city is a great area to stay in if you are interested in shopping and the night market. The town is very small when compared to Bangkok, and you can walk to the beach as well as plenty of restaurants, convenience stores and some places of interest.

We do not often stay in a Hua Hin city hotel. We prefer to stay in a Takiab Beach hotel because Takiab has a much nicer beach. Hua Hin beach really does live up to its name, Stone Head. There are many large rocks in the Hua Hin area and it just is not as nice of a place for the kids to play. We always head into Hua Hin for our evening meals and to stroll through the night market.

The big advantage for checking into a Hua Hin city hotel is that you will always be close to the best restaurants, the night market and other shopping possibilities. But if you take your family to Huahin for a beach vacation, then I recommend you book a room on a beach outside of the the main part of town.
