Hua Hin Weather

Hua Hin weather is not a complicated matter. Our family has been to Huahin many times for a family holiday. We have experienced Hua Hin weather during each season of the year. Located on the Gulf of Thailand, Hua Hin weather is very moderate throughout the year. The sea breezes keep temperatures tolerable during the hot season. The air is pleasant during the cool season, but there is still plenty of sunshine.

Hua Hin has three basic seasons as does most of Thailand. Any season is a good time to visit Hua Hin, but each season has some advantages and disadvantages. You decide which time of year is right for you to schedule a family holiday in Hua Hin.

Hua Hin weather during hot season, March through June, is rather hot. Day time highs will climb into the mid 30's C or 90's F. If you do not like extreme heat, it may be best to plan your trip during a cooler part of the year. Hot season brings clear skies and some light afternoon breezes from the gulf. Sunny skies and fewer tourists are definite advantages during hot season. The constant heat even after the sun goes down can be hard to handle.

The rainy season runs from July to November, although it is not unusual for the rains to begin in June. Hua Hin weather cools down a bit with the regular rains, but the humidity tends to increase. A Hua Hin beach vacation is a viable option during rainy season. The majority of the rain comes in the form of late afternoon thunder showers. The storms do not last long and once the clouds empty themselves of precipitation, the sun shines again. The rates for beach resorts in Hua Hin are lower from May to October. Travelers with a smaller budget can find great deals on accomodations during the rainy season.

The cool season lasts from December until February. Hua Hin weather is perfect for a beach vacation during this time of year. Sunny warm days and cool breezy nights provide the best combination to enjoy fun in the surf and a walk through the night market. The only drawback is that there will be many other travelers in Hua Hin to enjoy a family beach holiday as well. The higher demand for hotel and resort rooms means the prices go up. During the Christmas and New Year holidays, hotels rates may be three times the rate when compared to rainy season.

Current Hua Hin Weather

Hua Hin weather may change depending on the time of the year, but Hua Hin will always be a good place for your family beach holiday. I am sure you will enjoy your time in Hua Hin.
